Since the last time I posted, I:
- Won two graduate awards.
- Wrote the first 20 chapters of my novel.
- Moved to Oxford.
- Started a postgrad course in Publishing Media.
Life has been pretty busy, lots of changes happening, some of them quite overwhelming. But the water is starting to settle and my feet are finding the ground again.
As I mentioned, I enrolled on a course in Publishing Media, which is exciting. It’s different from my undergrad, a lot more information coming at me quickly, but there are also lots of interesting projects in the works.
Later on this October, I will be attending the Frankfurt Book Fair with other students on my course and I’m looking forward to stepping a little further in the publishing world.
But the thing I am most excited about is having access to the Bodleian Library in Oxford. I went on a tour the other day and decided it’s: 1 — the best place on Earth, and 2 — the place where I’d like to get married (there was an actual wedding reception there!).
It’s all books, all the time, which is REALLY fun. My version of cartoon dollar-sign-eyes is book-eyes…
P.S. I’ve just added a new page, Portfolio & CV, so make sure you check out what I’m about while you wait for more content, which is coming really soon!
